This is my activism blog. For my cause, I chose to promote breast cancr awareness. Breast cancer is a cancer that starts in the breast tissue.
There are usually no symptoms for breast cancer, so regular breast exams are . As the cancer grows, later symtoms include: lumps around breast and armpit, change in nipple size, or discharges from the nipples.
Don’t be fooled… Men can get breast cancer too!
Treatments for breast cancer include: chemotherapy which kills cancer cells, radiation therapy which estroys cancerous tissue, and surgery to remove cancerous tissues.
Although breast cancer can occur in both men and women, women are 100 times more likely to get breast cancer than men. 1 in 8 females will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
Risk Factors you cannot change include: Age and Genger, Family History, Genes, Menstrual Cycle
No one asks to have breast cancer.
Anyone can go green, but can you take the challenge and go PINK?
